High-Power Oil Distribution Transformers

These are oil distribution transformers used to transform medium-voltage electrical energy (6 kV to 35 kV) to low voltage (from 400 to 433 V), which in our production are available with power ratings up to 3,150 kVA.

They are hermetically sealed transformers, where the active electrical parts are enclosed in a tight tank completely filled with insulating oil. Upon special request from the customer, they can also be made with a conservator, i.e., as non-hermetic transformers. They are mainly intended for indoor or outdoor installation in traditional transformer stations.

Off-voltage regulation: ± 2 × 2.5% or ± 3 × 2.5%
Connection group: Dyn5, Dyn11
Short-circuit voltage: 6%
No-load and load losses: compliant with the EU ECO Directive Tier 2 or individual customer requirements.

High-Power Oil Distribution Transformers

The transformer tank, made with flexible steel corrugated walls, ensures tightness and proper cooling of the transformer. Depending on our clients’ requirements, we provide anti-corrosion protection/protective coatings, ensuring resistance and durability for products operating even in the most demanding conditions.

On the transformer cover, there are high-voltage and low-voltage bushings (GN and DN), an oil filling port, a tap changer head, and other equipment agreed upon with the Customer.

The insulating fluid is most commonly mineral oil – which can be either inhibited or uninhibited. Alternatively, biodegradable vegetable oil, composed of a mixture of esters of fatty acids of plant origin, or synthetic ester-based insulating fluid can be used.
