Modern Infrastructure
We have a modern infrastructure located in 15,000 m² of production and storage halls. Our specialization includes transformers up to 7 MVA and 36 kV (oil transformers) and up to 6 MVA and 36 kV (dry resin transformers).
All the main components of our transformers, such as the transformer core, HV and LV coils, and the transformer tank, are produced in our factory in Poland, in Mikołów. This gives us full control over the materials and methods used in building the transformers we offer. We do not use ready-made products or semi-finished goods from outside Europe.
In January 2023, after Green Transfo SAS acquired the Mikolow Transformer Factory from Schneider Electric, we became part of the international Cahors capital group — a corporation operating in the power engineering sector. The factories belonging to the Cahors capital group are located in different countries and specialize in selected product groups, which allows for maximizing the efficiency of the entire supply chain. Thanks to this, the Cahors Group, including the Green Transfo Group, can deliver as many as 32,000 transformers annually to global markets, including oil and dry distribution transformers, as well as transformers with power ratings up to 120 MVA and nominal voltages up to 170 kV.

Quality, Safety, and Sustainable Development
We hold ISO certificates confirming compliance with international standards for quality management, safety, and environmental protection. We focus on the continuous improvement of production processes and a responsible approach to sustainable development and the energy of the future.

Our values
History of our factory
Our roots date back to 1945, when the state-owned enterprise Mikolow Transformer Factory Mefta was established to produce transformers for the needs of a developing country. Since then, we have continuously grown as a center of competence and technology in the field of transformers. Our over 80 years of experience is the foundation on which we build the future of sustainable energysector.

The history of the Transformer Plant in Mikołów dates back to 1945, when the company Elektrobau was nationalized (February 28, 1945).
Nearly 50 years later, after the political transformation, the privatization - in 1992 - of the Mikolow Transformer Factory "Mefta" was carried out, and the plant was incorporated into the structure of the international AEG group (17 December 1992).
In June 2010, the Schneider Electric group acquired the distribution division from the French group AREVA T&D, which resulted in the company being renamed Schneider Electric Energy Poland sp. z o.o. (in 2017, the name was changed to Schneider Electric Transformers Poland sp. z o.o.).
What makes us Green?
Our commitment to sustainable development is not just a declaration but an integral part of our strategy and daily operations. At Mefta Green Transfo, we recognize the urgent need to protect the environment and actively take steps to minimize our negative impact, including reducing our carbon footprint. Through systematic optimizations, our processes are becoming increasingly energy-efficient – year after year, we reduce energy consumption.
In our production processes, we use environmentally friendly materials, aiming to reduce the use of natural resources and minimize waste. We invest in innovative technologies and solutions that allow us to produce transformers with higher energy efficiency, contributing to lower energy consumption for our customers.
Our mission and vision clearly highlight sustainable development as one of the key pillars of our operations. We believe that business success and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. Through our actions, we aim to have a positive impact on the environment and the communities we serve, helping to build a future that is more sustainable for the next generations. We prioritize climate action, understanding that it is essential for the long-term success of our company and the future of our planet.
